Meet Chlorella vulgaris

Often called the oldest cell on earth, and one of the fastest.

Chlorella vulgaris is a green microalga just 2 to 10 micrometers across, often called the oldest cell on earth. What makes it remarkable is its biological drive: under the right conditions it reproduces by dividing into four new cells every 20 to 24 hours. It has rebuilt itself faster, and for longer, than almost anything alive.

That relentless cell division demands dense building material, which is why Chlorella is so nutritionally concentrated. In its refined form it measures 66.9 grams of complete protein per 100 grams and carries all nine essential amino acids, alongside lipids, carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins.
