Agriculture

Chlopia is a proprietary organic liquid containing beneficial metabolites from the cultivation of Chlorella microalgae. The metabolites are separated from the algae biomass, yielding a metabolite-rich liquid that enhances natural microbial activity in the soil. It is OMRI-listed for use in organic agriculture.

Algae

As algae grow, they produce bioactives and signaling compounds called metabolites. Rather than selling the algae biomass, we capture these metabolites, the signal the algae makes, and that is the active in every Algae4F product.

Technology

In closed-loop vertical photobioreactors (vPBR): 3-meter glass columns under 24-hour automated control of temperature, pH, and CO2. The closed loop prevents contamination, and the system is up to 66% more productive than open-pond cultivation.

Environmental impact

The algae are grown with sunlight and CO2 through photosynthesis, and cultivation does not compete for farmland. A life cycle assessment found a 93% reduction in CO2-equivalent impact for one liter applied to corn versus a synthetic NPK fertilizer.

Human nutrition

CGF is the dense five-nucleotide cellular complex and complete protein that chlorella uses to rebuild itself. CGF137 captures it whole, alongside chlorophyll-a, in a two-part compound.

Animal feed

An algae-derived nutrient delivered in poultry drinking water, available as a clarified metabolite liquid or a whole-cell concentrate. It supplies bioactives, vitamins, and minerals and works as a natural alternative to antibiotic growth promoters.
